PCA Women's Ministry Regional Prayer Assignment

2024 Northeast Region

Each year the PCA Women's Ministry asks the women in each region of the denomination to pray for a specific committee or agency of the PCA. 

Please mobilize the women in your church and the Heritage Presbytery to pray for the PCA Administrative Committee and the Committee on Discipleship Ministries in the coming year. We  are part of the Northeast Region and have been assigned the month of November to focus on our prayer assignment, but we are encouraged to pray for them at any and all times of the year. In addition to praying, consider being in touch with the AC and CDM by possibly sending some of their staff a card, e-mail message or small gift as an expression of encouragement.  

The PCA Administrative Committee (AC) connects PCA people, churches and ministries. Through its various functions the AC provides an infrastructure that connects and supports PCA churches, presbyteries, elders, lay workers, and ministries. It exists to serve the people and ministries of the PCA as they carry out the church’s mission to be “faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission”.

The PCA Committee on Discipleship Ministries (CDM) assists leaders in the local church as they make disciples of children, youth and adults in the congregation. CDM seeks to help by connecting people to people and people to resources. It does this through consultation, training events, conferences, and resources available on the website.  The PCA Women's Ministry is part of CDM. The hope is that God will use the ministry of CDM to help PCA members experience the great blessings of a connectional church as we seek to partner together to fulfill the Great Commission.
